Yesterday afternoon, my mother and father-in-law were over here helping me with the boys. After a full afternoon of toddler and baby sitting, we had them stay for dinner.
While my husband and I were whipping up dinner which consisted of homemade mashed taters and chicken fingers and tea, I could hear my dear father -in-law singing to my 2month old son.
It's really sweet. It is really. Even though they were a bit interesting.
I had to giggle a bit and be glad that my 2 month old will never remember the words to these songs.
Here's a list of songs I could hear my father-in-law singing. Get ready for this.
Little Red Riding Hood
He'll Have to Go - by Jim Reeves
Scooby Dooby Doo
Ahab the Arab
Some song by Elvis
And SOME song about gum losing its flavor on the bedpost!
My husband and I looked at each other at times laughing and shaking our heads. Other times, my husband would tell him to PLEASE sing some other type of song to our child!
I really, REALLY hope that Justin understands his PaPa's good intentions but overlooks Ahab the Arab.
