Another Time to Celebrate!

We celebrated Mother's Day not too long ago. God blessed my husband and me with a son (who is the inspiration for my blog) 15 months ago. It's still so new to me: celebrating me as a mom. I always think about celebrating my mother who is almost 72 yrs old.

Now, coming the 3rd Sunday in June, June 17, we celebrate Father's Day. My father is almost 77 yrs old. He's always been a positive influence in my life. A great father! He'd tell me growing up "You can do it!" I got tired of hearing it at that time. But I go back to that alot these days.

My husband is a great father. He spends his days chasing our son around the house, making sure he's fed and diapered; making sure he's not hiding taking his clothes off, or taking something OUT of the trash or putting our house keys IN the trash. He even cooks dinner sometimes (we share the responsibility), he washes clothes (another responsibility we share), plus much more.

It is a bit hard sometimes knowing what to get for Fathers who have everything. But I think I may be on to something this year. At Delightful Deliveries, I've found all kinds of wonderful items for those dads!

Their California Assortment Gift basket contains some delightful items. It includes roasted garlic salsa, tortilla chips, caramel popcorn, butter toffee pretzels, chocolate chip cookies, California Crisps, and much more.

Another tempting basket, and I MEAN TEMPTING, is the Omaha Steaks Filet Mignons, which also include potato shells filled with whipped potatoes, sour cream, cheddar cheese and bacon.

And they have so much more besides the chocolate and gourmet meals. They have monthly clubs, fresh flowers, and corporate gifts! There is too much to list here, so you REALLY need to check it out for yourself. You never know what will pop out of the screen at you! PLENTY, and I mean P-L-E-N-T-Y, popped out at me! I am going to have to really watch myself when I go to order.

Check it out here! Father's Day Gifts
