My 6 month Little Big Man!

We took Justin to the doctor for his 6 month shots. You all know THAT is not fun.

I felt so bad for him because he HAD been smiling and flirting with the nurses and the lady doctor. But that disappeared when those lovely shots came his way.

Poor thing...

But I know they are necessary.

At 6 months, he is 20 lbs, 12 oz. AND 28 3/4 inches long.

I've watched this child go from 2-3 days in newborn diapers, maybe a couple of weeks in Size 1, and not long in Sizes 2 and 3.

Joshua had JUST got out of Size 3 when Justin landed in them.

Now they are both in Size 4. Keep in mind, Joshua is almost 2 1/2 yrs old. Justin is NOT.

Justin has managed to land up in Joshua's 12 mo and 18 mo clothing!

I know ya'll probably think I feed him ALOT. I actually wondered about that myself a while back. But I felt of his chest/stomach area and noticed where the ribcage is and how his shoulders are.

I have a big framed boy! He takes after his daddy and "PaPa." Justin can fit in Joshua's 18 mo old pjs where they are 2 piece....the shirt and pants.

He's been rolling over for a 2-3 weeks now. He's got 2 bottom teeth, and watches EVERYTHING I put in my mouth. He even REACHES for it! The only thing though is that he's not completely ready to take on the jarred food yet. I know because I've tried. He won't really open his mouth, and if he does, and I feed him some applesauce or something, he kinda wants to push it back out a little which is one of the signs he not quite ready.

I'm looking forward to seeing if he will eat brocolli casserole like Joshua does!

He started a month or two ago doing what Joshua started around 18 months: when I lay him on the bed to change his diaper, he tightens up and stiffens out those legs and tries to roll on his side.

I tell ya....... I need another shower by the time I finish changing his diaper and clothes because he's moving ALL.THE.TIME! And not just a little move.

But I really expected this because he moved ALL.THE.TIME before he was born! So anyway, he moves and I'm so pooped by the time I"m finished!

But don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I'm just in awe of this little guy!

Joshua was totally different. He just lay there and let me change him. He hardly budged! I remember telling people how easy he was to change. Now, my work is cut out for me.

AND you know what else? He still has blue eyes. They have a light blue sparkle to them. I don't think they are going to change. Why is this so fascinating to me? Because my husband and I and Joshua all have brown eyes!

Well, I guess I better go for now. Both my little fellas are asleep and I need to start supper and do another load of clothes!
